Tuition is so expensive, doesn't it cover most expenses?

Tuition does not cover most expenses. The actual cost of a Morehouse education greatly exceeds tuition, so Morehouse ends up subsidizing the overwhelming majority of students—even those that pull full freight. In fact, Morehouse College has a discounted tuition rate of more than 40% (approximately $25M annually). And much of this discounting is unfunded, which means this aid has no revenue source and represents tuition revenue foregone to incentivize enrollment and ensure accessibility.
